Executive Functioning Coaching for Schools

  • Coaching can take place in small group, one-on-one, by department or grade level, or in the form of professional development to entire staff. Ideally, coaching style is transformative; however, directional or functional coaching methods will be used as appropriate.

  • Initial intake is done which will include understanding goals of staff and administration as well as level of experience and understanding of executive functioning, its impact on a school day, and strategies to alleviate student and teacher EF overload.

    • This may include private coaching, observations and feedback, lesson plan development in subject matter to account for EF or lesson plans for addressing and teaching EF strategies and tactics.

    • Surveys taken at beginning, middle and end of contracted work time to ensure understanding and successful, lasting implementation of material and strategies.
